♥ paris in 2 days ♥ what to see ♥

Hello there! In January of 2015 I went to Paris, France with my boyfriend for two days and i absolutely fell in love with the city.
In this post i will tell you, things that you must do if you're just there for a short time.
When you just have the opportunity to go for 2 days or a weekend, you must book your flight the earlier possible. Not only your flight (book at least with one month advance), but also when you book it, select the option to arrive early (like 8am). If you arrive around 2pm, you will waste half day. In 2 hours you can do a lot of things.
So lets start:

Arriving at 9am at Charles de Gaulle Airport with just a backpack , the first thing you will do is buy your Roissy bus ticket. (this Bus connects Paris-Opéra with Charles de Gaulle airport.) Opera is like the center of Paris. This bus costs 11€ each way and you can buy it in roissy bus machine at the airport, or you can buy it with the driver. This bus takes 60 minutes and every 15minutes there's one coming.

You will arrive around 10:15am in Opera and you're probably hungry, so you must have a typical
french breakfast and the best place is Brioche Doreé. When you arrive go to this closest one. Ask for a croissant and coffee to wake you up. The service in this "Salon de thé" is very good.

After that you should go all the way down through Avenue de L'opéra which is very beautiful. On the way you will find "Pierre Herme" shop, which sells the best macarons ever and you must eat them. Pierre Hermé is a French pastry chef most famous for his macarons, many of which have unusual flavor combinations.  Each macaron is expensive, but you should  at least try. After that you continue down the road, it will take around 20 minutes till Louvre Museum. There's some nice shops on the way, so you probably will take more than 20 minutes :D

Yeah, i told you would see nice things on the way.
This is where you arrive, this is beautiful and amazing place. You will see a lot of Tourist, but also you will see a lot of weird people bothering you asking for money, fake petitions, magic tricks. just IGNORE them, because all they want from you is steal you somehow. Watch yourself.
If you want you can try to go into the Louvre museum, but in fact you will waste a lot of your day because there's a lot of things to see in there. You will also save money... BUT in case you wanna go you can buy your tickets HERE  online so you can avoid the queue and take a selfie with Mona Lisa.
Just next to Louvre you will see a beautiful garden "Jardin de tuileries" which must be amazing in the summer. If you keep going you will get to the Arc de Triunf.

The next things to see is Notre Dame Cathedral! Its time to buy your metro tickets. You get into the closest metro station which is Argentine (M). You must download the Metro Map or get the app: Metro Paris (it works offline) just in case. So in my opinion i think  you should buy the option 10 tickets (i think is 14euros). Dont buy the Daily Pass is more expensive each day and maybe you dont need that much tickets. 10 tickets was enough for 2 days.
Get off in Chatelet (M) station and now you will have to walk a little bit (but have your self a lunch first), cross some bridges cause Notre Dame Cathedral is located in a middle of a little island called Cité in the river.
And enjoy the view of this gothic constrution.

Behind the Cathedral , you better have your locker and a pen ready because you will find the Love Locker bridge. Its so nice to see all of those lockers.
Now is time for a pint. Go to some pub | bar around, enjoy and relax a bit.  We went to this one and we took a polaroid picture. Very cozy and good music.

The best place to see the Eiffel tower is from trocadero. So when you finish your pub , get into the closest (M) Station and get off in Trocadéro (M). At night is so emotional. Get closer to the Eiffel structure and enjoy your self this massive piece of iron. You will get for sure awesome pictures .

Go for a boat trip , this one is called bateaux mouches. Bateaux Mouches are open excursion boats that provide visitors to Paris with a view of the city from along the river Seine.
You can buy your tickets HERE.
The price for a cruise trip for an adult is 13,50€ or if you want something different you can have a lunch there (55€) or dinner (99€)

♥ My dinner in a local restaurant next to the hotel. Only 4€ all of this! ♥

So, its  the second day and your flight is at 9pm. Make sure you wake up early again. Have some breakfast in your  hotel (its good to be in a hotel with breakfast included). So today go to the Sacre Cour. Is like the heart of Paris. You have a awesome view of the whole city from there, get in there and appreciate the inside.
Go to the most famous Cemetery: Père Lachaise Cemetery.
is the largest cemetery in the city of Paris though there are larger cemeteries in the city's suburbs
Who's there?
Jim Morrison , Modigliani, and other ones. This cemetery is so huge. When you get in, you can see a map of famous people's graves. Check the map, keep in mind you will lost a lot of time in this cemetery to find the graves you want. We spend like almost one hour looking for Jim Morrison's grave. Its really hard to find. We wanted to see other graves, but was impossible. But the cemetery is so nice and when i was there it started snowing, was such a nice moment that i will never ever forget.

Next thing to do is Catacombs of Paris.
The Catacombs of Paris or Catacombes de Paris are underground ossuaries in ParisFrance. Located south of the former city gate. The ossuaries hold the remains of about six million people and fill a renovated section of caverns and tunnels that are the remains of historical stone mines, giving it its reputation as "The World's Largest Grave". Opened in the late 18th century, the underground cemetery became a tourist attraction on a small scale from the early 19th century, and has been open to the public on a regular basis from 1874. The entry is 8€ i guess.

Again to the eiffel tower!!! :D This time go inside. The queue for the lifts must be so long and you dont wanna waste your time. So try something different and go by stairs. Im telling you, it is wearing. So many stairs but its something you will never forget and the view from there is so beautiful and you can observe all the little details from the tower and have a coffee up there.

Eat a Crepe after the Eiffel Tower, be careful with the time. Dont forget your bus will take 1hour from Opera to the airport. And its better to go 1 hour earlier than late. You can catch so much traffic that you can miss your flight. So imagine you need to be at the airport at 8pm , be in Opera at 6pm to be save. Buy your Roissy Bus with the driver.

Hope you had enjoyed my post! :)))))
